How do I know the transmission will fit my vehicle?
Transmissions are trickier than engines — same year/make/model can have different transmissions based on engine, drivetrain, and trim. The fastest way: send us your VIN.
We'll verify the transmission code, drivetrain (2WD/4WD/AWD), engine pairing, and TCM compatibility against the unit you're considering — before you pay a dollar. We confirm fitment in writing.
Will it work with my vehicle's computer (TCM)?
Modern transmissions need to "talk" to your vehicle's Transmission Control Module (TCM). We verify this compatibility as part of fitment confirmation.
For most vehicles, a matching transmission will plug-and-play. Some newer vehicles (2018+) may need a quick TCM relearn at a dealer or with a scan tool — we'll flag that in advance if applicable.
What does the 6-month warranty cover?
The 6-month warranty covers internal mechanical defects — gear sets, planetary, valve body, torque converter (auto), and internal clutch packs.
It can be extended to up to 3 years at purchase. Claims are handled by our specialist team directly — no third-party warranty company runaround.

Used (what we sell): Pulled from a donor vehicle, fully inspected and tested. Lowest cost, fastest delivery, original factory build quality.
Rebuilt: Old case with new internal parts. Quality varies wildly by rebuilder. More expensive than a low-mileage used unit.
Remanufactured: Factory-rebuilt to OEM spec. Highest cost, often longest lead time, best for high-stress/towing applications.

How are mileage figures verified?
Every transmission is pulled from a vehicle with documented mileage — either from CARFAX, the donor vehicle's title, or odometer at time of dismantling.
