Warranty Periods by Vehicle Year:

• 1991-1995 Models: 60-day standard warranty
• 1996-2001 Models: 90-day standard warranty
• 2002 & Newer Models: 6-month standard warranty
• Extended Warranty: Available for select engine and transmission types

CANCELLATION & RETURN POLICY

Order Cancellation:

• Within 24 hours: Full refund available
• After 24 hours: 20% restocking fee plus round-trip shipping costs apply

7-Day Inspection Period: Report any visible damage or defects within 7 days of delivery. Returns cannot be accepted after this period. Note: Returning an engine delivered in good condition is considered a cancellation and subject to standard cancellation fees.

INSTALLATION & INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS

Heat Tab Inspection: Immediately inspect for heat tabs upon delivery - small markers indicating overheating history. Contact us immediately if heat tabs are missing or melted, as this voids warranty coverage.

30-Day Installation Window: Install your engine within 30 days of invoice date to maintain warranty validity. Extended storage can cause rust and moisture damage.

WARRANTY COVERAGE DETAILS

What's Covered:

• Engine block and cylinder heads
• Pistons, crankshaft, and camshaft
• Essential internal moving components
• Replacement parts and approved shipping costs

What's Not Covered:

• External accessories (sensors, manifolds, belts, injectors, hoses, brackets, oil pan)
• Labor costs (unless pre-approved in writing)
• Damage from racing, towing, or misuse
• Pre-existing vehicle problems affecting the part
• Leaks from old gaskets, filters, or seals
• Transportation, towing, or indirect damages

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS

Required Documentation:

• Please send us an email to support@usedenginesstore.com with Clear photos showing the issue and part stock number
• Installation invoice proving pre-installation checklist completion
• Certified mechanic's diagnostic report
• Proof that heat tabs remain intact

Claim Resolution: Approved claims receive tested replacement parts with pickup of defective units. If replacement experiences identical issues, full refund provided upon return.

WARRANTY VOID CONDITIONS

• Skipping pre-installation requirements
• Overheating or insufficient lubrication damage
• Unauthorized repairs or modifications
• Missing or damaged heat tabs
• Retaining defective parts beyond 30 days
• Failure to replace water pump during installation
• Returning parts in altered condition
