Return Policy
We stand behind the quality of our used engines and transmissions. Our return policy is designed to give you peace of mind with your purchase.
Return Conditions
- Unused & Uninstalled: Parts must not be installed or modified in any way
- Original Packaging: All original packaging, labels, and accessories must be included
- No Damage: Parts must be free from physical damage, scratches, or alterations
- Return Authorization: Contact us to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before shipping
Restocking Fee
A 20% restocking fee applies to all returns to cover inspection, repackaging, and processing costs. This fee is deducted from your refund amount.
Non-Returnable Items
- Installed or partially installed engines/transmissions
- Parts damaged due to improper handling or storage
- Custom-ordered or special-order items
- Electrical components that have been connected
Important: We strongly recommend professional inspection and photo approval before installation to avoid return complications.
Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund according to the following timeline and procedures.
Refund Timeline
- Inspection: 2-3 business days after we receive your return
- Approval: You'll receive email confirmation once your return is approved
- Processing: 5-7 business days to process the refund
- Bank Processing: Additional 5-10 business days for your bank to post the credit
Refund Method
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase:
- Credit/Debit Cards: Refunded to the original card
- PayPal: Refunded to your PayPal account
- Wire Transfer: Refunded via wire transfer (fees may apply)
Refund Amount
Your refund will include:
- Product purchase price (minus 20% restocking fee)
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable
- Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility
Partial Refunds: If the returned item shows signs of use, damage, or missing components, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion.
Cancellation Policy

- Block & Casings: Engine block, cylinder heads, transmission case
- Moving Parts: Pistons, crankshaft, camshaft, gears, and bearings
- Seals & Gaskets: Factory-installed seals and gaskets
What's Not Covered
- Damage from improper installation or maintenance
- Normal wear and tear items (filters, fluids, belts)
- Damage from overheating, lack of oil, or coolant
- External accessories (alternators, starters, AC compressors)
- Labor costs for removal, installation, or diagnosis
Filing a Warranty Claim
To file a warranty claim:
- Contact us immediately when an issue is discovered
- Provide photos and description of the problem
- Allow our technicians to inspect the part if needed
- Keep all documentation and receipts
Warranty Resolution: Approved claims will be resolved through replacement, repair, or refund at our discretion. We cover parts only; labor and shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.

We encourage all customers to thoroughly inspect their engine or transmission before installation. This protects both you and us.
Pre-Installation Inspection
Before installing your engine or transmission:
- Visual Inspection: Check for any visible damage, cracks, or leaks
- Photo Documentation: Take photos of all sides, mounting points, and connections
- Serial Number Verification: Confirm the serial number matches your order
- Accessory Check: Verify all included components match the description
Photo Approval Process
We offer a photo approval service for added peace of mind:
- Request photo approval when placing your order
- We'll send detailed photos before shipping
- Review and approve the exact unit you'll receive
- Confirm condition, accessories, and specifications
Reporting Issues
If you discover any issues during inspection:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide clear photos showing the issue
- Do not install the part if you have concerns
- We'll work with you to resolve the issue quickly
Important: Once a part is installed, warranty coverage applies instead of return eligibility. Always inspect before installation.
Core Return Requirements
If your purchase includes a core charge, you must return your old engine or transmission to receive your core refund.

- Same Type: Core must be the same type as the purchased unit (engine for engine, transmission for transmission)
- Complete Assembly: All major components must be present (block, heads, crank, etc.)
- Not Damaged: No cracks in block or case, no fire damage
- Proper Packaging: Securely packaged to prevent damage during shipping
Core Charge Amounts
Core charges vary by part type:
- Engines: Typically $150-1000
- Transmissions: Typically $200-400
- Specialty Units: May vary based on rarity and demand
Core Return Process
- Use the original packaging from your new part
- Contact us for a prepaid return shipping label
- Ship within 30 if applicable days of receiving your order
- Core refund processed within 5-7 business days of receipt
Core Rejection Reasons
Cores may be rejected for:
- Cracked block or transmission case
- Missing major components (crankshaft, cylinder heads, valve body)
- Fire or severe water damage
- Wrong type or model returned
Partial Core Refunds: If your core doesn't meet all requirements but has salvage value, we may offer a partial refund at our discretion.
